六大生命準則

國際仿生權威組織Biomimicry3.8於2013年提出一套輔助仿生設計思考的工具，其將自然界的生命準則結合仿生科技設計概念並歸納成六大項目，以使仿生的相關設計更加「自然永續」。

六大仿生設計準則

1. 適應變動的情境 Adapt to Changing Conditions

2. 為生存而演化 Evolve to Survive

3. 整合成長與發展 Integrate Development with Growth

4. 有效率地使用資源 Be Resource Efficient

5. 採用環境友善化學物質 Use Life-friendly Chemistry

6. 回應與調和在地情境 Be Locally Attuned and Responsive
